MOCHA
Mocha used to be quite difficult, but after our constant training boy did she change. she is able to go on a walk without growling at the people. She is able to be off the leash at the park and do her thing, doesn’t bark at people or have aggression towards dogs/people. she able to coexist with our other dogs now without an issue. since she’s crate trained, if i simply say go to your cage she’ll open the crate and go on without an issue.
Me and family were so used to certain things like keeping her apart from the other dogs or her aggression towards us, so this was a big change for her especially. i know it was stressful for us and her at the beginning but once we saw the smallest change like her tailing wagging, mouth open while walking i knew she was happy and more content even comfortable to know she could trust us more.
The biggest takeaway was whether or not if she was gonna apply what we were teaching her because she has been aggression for a very long time and she had habits plus us enabling her a lot, but honestly just making change regardless of the doubts made mocha the best girl she is today and i wouldn’t change anything about it. Donald had such a big impact on mocha and me and i’m forever grateful.

Donald was prompt, communicative, and knowledgeable. He welcomed a screener call to talk about his methods and my needs before confirming an appointment. During training he made sure we were working on the behaviors that were most important to me. I appreciate that the session felt non-judgemental and focused on learning. He showed me strategies that work for my lifestyle and explained how to implement them in a realistic and effective way. I am looking forward to watching my dog learn and improve his behavior from the guidance Donald gave us.

My fiance and I went through a 10 week training program w/ Donald. It was everything I expected and then some!! He is patient and takes the extra time to sit with you and answer any questions you may have. Also - very affordable and accommodating to your schedule!
After every session - he follows up with an email on how to build off of it during the week (or until your next session).
He has left us with so much knowledge through his training program that my fiance and I feel super confident and comfortable w/ our GSD.

As a first time dog owner sometimes I was sometimes out of my league with a husky puppy. It was paramount that I find a trainer as soon as possible however very few trainers wanted to train brand new puppies. Donald is great trainer, patient with the dog at the time 10 weeks old. Very knowledgeable and provided with great pointers. Highly recommended trainer.

It is a pleasure to recommend Donald as a trainer. He is a fantastic trainer; he is understanding patient and has affected a positive change in our dog Shea. When we met for the first time Donald answered all of my questions about the things i wanted to work on and gave me the right tools and advice to continue Shea’s training on my own. After one session Shea who was so frustrating to walk was walking next to me and not 5ft away. Donald is reliable organized and knowledgable and I highly recommend him.

Donald is a remarkable dog trainer. My wife and I tried several other trainers, but Donald is by far is the best one. I have even recommended Donald to our vet. Our dog is a 12 year old Golden Retriever (rescued). Our dog - Harpo - is great around people but he extremely aggressive around other dogs. One of the great things Donald taught us is how to deal with our dog's antagonism towards the other dogs. He began using small treats with the command "Harpo come." He then would use the treat to turn him away from the other dog. Donald then showed us how to get away from using the treats and train him to pay attention to our commands. For years we could not get Harpo to come when called. Again Donald used the treat and the command "Harpo come". It worked! We also use this command to stop him from going ballistic when a dog passed out front window. Donald's training technique is hands on for the owner. He believes the owner and the dog must develop a respectful understanding and learn together. Of course the owner must be in charge. Donald loves and understands the needs of dogs. His understanding comes from a deep love of dogs. He knows that the basic needs of the dogs begin with the owners knowledge and awareness.

KASH
Our husky Kash came to us after being labeled “untrainable”. We bought a package of training sessions from Donald, and every week he came over and trained Kash, along as educated us on how to learn and understand a new direction for Kash. Kash went from not being able to get along with any person or dog, to loving all, love getting greeted by all, and also gets along with dogs of every size. Kash even plays with a 5 pound Chihuahua. Donald came into our life at the right time and helped us train Kash into the awesome dog he is today. He wasn’t untrainable, all he needed was time, love and attention…Donald showed us how to show Kash all of that.
